Lilith: The Spirit of Freedom Over Paradise

According to Rabbinic legend, Lilith is the first wife of Adam, created from the same substances of the earth and equal in majesty to her husband.  Unwilling to subject herself to Adam's proclaimed superiority, Lilith flies from the Garden of Eden to pursue her own destiny.
